Church Family,

This Sunday we begin the Advent season.  Advent comes from the Latin word meaning “coming” or “arrival” and focuses in on the coming of Christ. In this season we celebrate the first advent of Christ and anticipate His second.  We want to spend this season as a church remembering, rejoicing, giving sacrificially as He gave, preparing, and longing for His return.  As you gather together through this season, be mindful of Advent.  As you converse with neighbors, co-workers, and family, seek to give more than wrapped gifts, give the Gospel. There is no greater gift.  Come on Sunday with prepared hearts!
